Rafael Thomaseto graduated with a Social Communication degree at Brazil’s top-ranked advertising program Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM). Rafael set out to meld his strong business and marketing foundation with his underlying passion for the film industry in early 2015 when he moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in the One-Year Conservatory program at the New York Film Academy.
He debuted as a writer and director with Momentary, a short film which premiered at Cannes Film Festival 2016 in the Short Film Corner division. Over the past 2 years, Rafael has devoted his time to building solid foundational experience as an aspiring producer. His resume now encompasses a strong list of production credits including Crypt TV short films, an indie feature film, commercial work for top brands such as Samsung, Nissan, Jose Cuervo, Chanel and Clearasil, music video work (Lady Gaga “Perfect Illusion”), and media production for Style Fashion Week L.A.
