GIRL NEXT DOOR centers on Samantha (Bella Ramsey) an ordinary teenager from the London suburbs who fell in love with Islam long before being Muslim was politicized. What began as teenage curiosity about an ‘exotic’ and welcoming faith as embodied by her neighbour and best friend, led to her to marry a lovely Muslim boy and have kids. She loves her new life as a devout Muslim, but is troubled by her husband’s disappearances, thinks he’s off with another woman. The truth though is much darker and will affect her for the rest of her life.
