Pitch: Mississippi, USA. Present day. A terrorist about to carry out an attack wakes up in hospital after crashing his car and doesn’t remember anything including that he had racist beliefs.

Following Tim Roth’s breakout BAFTA nominated role in Stephen Frears’ THE HIT [Cannes Directors’ Fortnight 1984], he was nominated for an Oscar and won a BAFTA for his performance in ROB ROY [$31m WW]. COME TOGETHER is directed by Oliver Schmitz, a leading German & South African director who has made five films for cinema, four of which have premiered in official selection in Cannes. LIFE ABOVE ALL [Cannes Un Certain Regard 2010 – Winner François Chalais Award; National Board of Review USA – Winner NBR award; Winner SAFTA Golden Horn Best Film] was shortlisted for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars. Synopsis: Calling into a radio station shouting racist ideology, Charlie [Tim Roth] crashes his car at high speed. Alma [Hiam Abbass], a Syrian refugee and former doctor, saves Charlie’s life at the scene. When they encounter each at the hospital where she works and he is being treated they become friends. Charlie doesn’t remember anything about his life, including that he had racist beliefs and was on his way to carry out a terrorist attack. After his estranged daughter finds a letter addressed to her in case of his death and the key to a lock up full of weapons she confides in Alma. They have to decide if they really believe he is a different person.
